Katherine L.W. Norton joined the firm as of Counsel in 2015. Attorney Norton practices in all areas of family law at both the Common Pleas and Appellate level. Super Lawyers magazine has named her a “Rising Star” in the area of Family Law for the years 2010 through 2016.
Attorney Norton is also Acting Co-Director of Clinical Education and Assistant Clinical Professor of Law at Duquesne University School of Law. At Duquesne she currently teaches the Family Law Clinic where she supervised students practicing the Family Court. She is also the Director of the Externship Program. Attorney Norton received the 2017 Excellence in Teaching Award from Duquesne University School of Law Student Bar Association. The award is for exceptional performance in the education of students and is selected by the students.
She received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Law and received her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Allegheny College.
Attorney Norton is very active in the Allegheny County Bar Association Public Service Committee and Family Law Section.
